Default Configuration- Load balanced

  • Works well with multiple SimRush outdoor units connected to a Power, Pro or Core Controller. It is most effective when the outbound services are of similar speed as the user experience is more uniform.

Alternative Configuration- Failover

  • All traffic goes through the SimRush Outdoor Unit or units unless the signal is lost, for example during network maintenance or service outage, all traffic is diverted to the failover auxiliary WAN gateway, or vice versa.

Bespoke Configuration

  • Used when there are 3 or more outbound routes (e.g. xDSL, FTTx, Satellite, Wireless WISP and multiple SimRush ODUs) traffic can be split for certain devices to utilise the most cost-efficient or pre-determined path. This means all high priority users can go through the SimRush gateways, either singular or load-balanced and low priority users go through one of the alternatives (xDSL, FTTx, Wireless WISP or Satellite).
